Untitled, Field Recording (Duration 2:32). 2014.

A two-part, audio piece and sculptural video still that documents a Civil War re-enactment meant to honor the experiences of Black soldiers. In the piece, the firing of the cannon is juxtaposed against a performance of war to question the function of reenactment as a process of contemporary restorative, racial justice that simultaneously intends to intervene upon the historical archive of the Civil War.
